Welcome to Da–motherfucking–Wood PenPals!!!

This story is not about to be cute in the slightest. If you can’t tell from the concept image, this is about to be real street. this story is about survival before love, kids raising kids, a girls carrying the weight of the world and a boys trying to make it out before the hood swallows them whole.

This takes place in the city of Ashbourne in the gritty streets of the Blackwood neighborhood, better known as “Da Wood.”

The concept is that Teyana “Tey” Smith runs a block for her brother while trying to help raise her four younger siblings after their mother is sent to prison. Devin Parker is a college kid from the same projects whose mother spent her whole life trying to make sure he didn’t become another soul lost to Da Wood.

When they become accquainted, Tey starts to see that there could be more to life than survival, but Da Wood won’t loosen it’s grip so easily.

Y’all following along in this process will get updates, full chapters, random videos of me writing, scenes that may get deleted later, and more as y’all watch me build this from the ground up.

Now i have decided against uploading the outline as I never follow then to begin with but I will be doing a Meet the Characters (as they currently are based on outline 🙃.
